What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We need to know a date, a location, and postcode if possible. It's key to know the type of surface the marquee is to be sited on, such as grass or hard-standing. Then it's always useful to know the type of event and how many guests, seated and standing.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your provider uses quality equipment. Look at their website and if they only have one or two pictures, ask them to email more. Compare at least three quotes, but remember you only get what you pay for - if someone quotes a bargain basement price, there is usually a good reason for that.

Century Marquees started life as one man and his tent over 17 years ago. We have steadily grown to include almost all of my family in the business. Our aim is to provide our clients with the best customer experience that we can, from initial meeting through to final completion. Our attention to detail and enthusiasm is second to none.
