Starting out as a mobile disco hire company, they evolved into a marquee hire company in 2009 and now even provide marquee furniture hire to fully kit out events of all themes, types and sizes. Working to any budget, Empire Events & Marquees are a one-stop-shop for outdoor events.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote we need to know event date if possible, occasion, the number of seated guests and any additional guests for the evening as well as whether a dance floor and bar are required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take a look at their past work through their website and/or social media accounts. Take a look at the standard of marquee that they offer to ensure that it is an industry standard marquee and not a gazebo.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Empire Events and Marquees was started by a small family looking for a stable income to support their children. Another family then teamed up with us for the very same reason. We love what we do - especially the end result! Customer Service and the use of high end products are important to us as, are our relationships with other suppliers. We definitely don't want to be a jack of all trades - we want to excel in what we do!
