What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to send out a suitable quotation we would need to know the event date and where the event will be held. We would then need to know roughly how many people would need to be seated inside the marquee or if part seated/standing room only, and whether space is required for either a dance floor or stage or entertainment. From this we can then provide a quotation suited to your needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would want to know what events the provider has worked for in the past and if they specialise in certain areas e.g. weddings. I would also want to see photos of their product and possible reviews from customers. I would want to talk to the provider and understand what is on offer.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Inside Out Marquees Ltd was purchased by ourselves in 2006 and we have been running the business with success since then. We like the fact that we are big enough to cover all manner of events but small enough that we get to deal with every single booking ourselves, so know that the job will be done to the best of our abilities. We love to hear the feedback from our customers.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had a few bookings through Add to Event. We know what the customers want by the form they have to fill in and can send a personal quotation based on this information. This helps when it then comes to the site visit. Everybody we have worked for has been very happy with our service and we will continue to use Add to Event as its a great way to get more work.
