What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to be able to provide an accurate quotation, we will need to know where the event is, how many people they want to accommodate in the marquee and whether they are looking at standing room or formal seating as this can make a huge difference to the space requirement. We will also need to know whether it is on hard standing or grass and the date of the event so that we can advise on whether heating and lighting will be required. The more information we receive, the more accurate our quotation!

Robin has been involved in the marquee business for many many years but we decided to start our own business 18 months ago. Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our recent booking for a Silver Wedding Anniversary party in their newly converted barn was a lovely event. Our marquees are tall enough to clear bi-fold doors - so important in this day and age when they are so popular! The marquee was able to provide double the amount of space for their party-goers as it was butted up to the barn and really complimented the space.
