What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Ideally, all aspects of the event. How many people, event running times, and of course what the event is. With our wide range of offerings, we can ask the questions needed to find out just what is required and ensure that the clients expectations are exceeded.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The dome world is small so ask about and find out what each company offers and what they have in house. Ask where their speciality lies. For us, a lot of work is centred around the domes, but we would never describe ourselves as a marquee hiring company. We've received Art Council grants for our works and toured across the world with our productions

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

After building several yurts the next progression was to domes as the majority of our work revolves around music production events. After investing in a 10m dome, we received funding to produce a full-dome film which we premiered to over 4000 people. Over the past 5 years, we have built a business now that is a fully functional touring mini-festival and with the increase in the festival wedding market and that contacts we have, it seems like a match made in heaven.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have done several pieces of work through Add to Event. Ranging from supplying projectors for universities and corporate clients, down to weddings and supplying of yurts.
Our favourite though was DJing for a school 40th reunion. Booked only for 2 hours the party continued long, long past that!
