What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a comprehensive quotation for a client, we would require the event date with the type of event they are looking to host. In addition to this, we would need to know the venue, estimated guest count and estimated budget. Once we have the required information we can put together a bespoke package to suits their needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experienced bar staff are key to a professional mobile bar, ensure the team have been fully trained in bartender and mixology (if required). I would also ask about the quality of the alcohol being served, yes it's great to keep within the budget, but also taste should be at the top of your event agenda.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Cosmo Events Ltd was born through our love of cocktails! Having spent many years in the hospitality industry, working bars at events throughout London, we realised that a lot of events lacked a quality cocktail service. From there, Cosmo Events was formed, we have since worked in our liquid kitchen refining our signature cocktails and bringing together an expert team of professional mixologists.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have been very lucky to get so many bookings through this platform. If I had to pick a favourite event of ours, it would be a Birthday Party we did after just coming out of lockdown. It was so great to be mixing cocktails and enjoying the excitement of the guests being able to now be out and partying with their friends. It was definitely an event to remember and I can say they really made use of the bar!
