If you would like us to provide a quote, please fill in all relevant info on the request form. We only use quality products so you will get the best available - we also, where possible, use local products and local companies.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The cheapest is not always the best; check out reviews on this site and the hygiene rating and public liability insurance. Also, check out the van; if you have booked a fish and chip/ burger van, it’s important that is of a satisfactory standard so that is compliments your event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Scoffers started as a second business but soon became the main one. It has gone from strength to strength, covering all events, from weddings to horse shows to charity events and so on. A brand new purpose built van is arriving in April. It will have all the latest catering equipment on board.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Since joining Add to Event I have gained a lot of bookings from it. I would recommend anyone who is just starting out to join as there is a lot of good work to be had. One of the best for me was a horse show which we did last summer and was held in the country with fantastic views. They have booked again this year direct with me so Add to Event can be a good platform for ongoing work if you perform well.
