With so much experience it's no surprise that they have gained a few tips on what to ask when booking your own provider.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The main things we need to know from an organiser is, obviously the date, how many numbers of guests or a rough estimate. Ideal food serving time and any specific dietary requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask the provider about the food they will be offering. How many staff members to serve. How long would it take to serve x amount of guests? If possible to try the food that would be served before booking the provider. Ask to see any reviews from previous bookings.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've been catering from a static pitch for over 20 years. The demand was that we should cater to weddings and other events and feedback and recommendations from has enabled us to require a second vehicle to keep up with demand and it's gotten busier year on year.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have taken numerous bookings via Add to Event. The site is worth its weight in gold. My favourite bookings are weddings and also corporate gigs. I do and have recommended Add to Event numerous times to customers that I've not been able to cater for as I'd been already booked out. I've also recommended the site to other caterers to help them get extra work.
