What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us, we need to know the length of time we are required for, the type of food you want - such as street food, buffet, canapés etc. The budget per person, location and whether it is indoors or outdoors so that we can provide the correct equipment for the food provided.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for people with experience and the equipment available for your needs. Ask for menus and provide as much information as you can, in order to get the right caterer for your needs at the right price. If you are unsure about something just ask - communication is key.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

With mobile catering, there is always something different to experience from the type of event, location, people and the food . It combines my passions in life - food, travel and the outdoors. I also get to have a face to face interaction with customers and it's always great to see people enjoying something that they have never tried.
