What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an accurate quotation we would request visitor or guest numbers, what power if any is available on site and some information on any specific requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To think out of the box a little, as its all well and good asking for coffee bars, do they offer decaffeinated, do they have flavoured coffees/hot chocolates, range of teas and soft drinks.

In regards to our other catering units when people offer things cheap there is a reason. Often using cheap ingredients that are not healthy.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started originally with our vintage coffee bikes, and then have added to the portfolio following success at events. We are still completely independent but now have 7 units and can deploy to multiple sites. With us having 7 units we often can help people at the last minute if they have been let down.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are quite new to the site, however, in our first two weeks have won 7 bookings. Our first booking was a bluegrass festival. The event was excellent and organised well, and the clientele was excellent. We took our traditional burger van and Ice Cream trailer. All of the customers over the 4 days were happy with our offering and we have been left a 5-star review.
