What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to be able to offer you the best possible quote, we need the following details: Date of the event, Entertainment you would like (i.e Discos, Photobooth Dance floor), times you would like us to start and finish and venue location.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Not all discos and DJs are the same just like your wedding isn't the same as other peoples, it's unique to you, therefore, it's important that you get the right person for your party. You want to make sure the style of music the DJ plays is to your taste.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Starlite Discos and Entertainments was formed by myself back in 1995 whilst still in the Army based in Germany. We very quickly became one of the leading suppliers of mobile discos throughout Germany to the Armed forces. On leaving the Army we moved back to the UK and built the business up from nothing once again. Over the last 5 years, we have expanded our services now offering LED Dance Floors, Photo Booths, Fun Casinos, Chocolate Fountains and much more.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am quite new to Add to Event and this form of marketing. In the first month or so after I joined Add to Event I took 3 confirmed bookings the first of which was in my local area and on my doorstep. If this level of bookings keeps coming from a new source we will be on for a very good year. I have told a few of my close friends about this site.
