What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The first things we need to know from an organiser is the most obvious. So 'date', 'time', 'type' and 'location'.
Then it's 'requirements'. As we are a 'one-stop' type of company offering a number of options, there may be several items you could be interested in.
Then it's the finer details, so venue type and size, number of people and age range, and accessibility.
It is also useful for us to have an idea of your budget, so we can offer a package that is within your means.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
What do think will be the thing most remembered by the guests at your function or event? Will it be your stunning outfit? The smart decor of the room? The lovely flowers? The delicious food? The enticing drinks?....

Booking the right entertainment is possibly the most important, yet often one of the most overlooked aspects of party planning.
In a recent survey, over 80% of participants said that in retrospect they should have given more attention to their entertainment, with a high amount wishing they had booked a quality disco rather than their chosen act.
It is therefore absolutely essential to ascertain exactly what your chosen entertainment company is supplying, who you will get on the day and, most importantly, when you are receiving quotes always compare like for like.
It is wise to meet and/or see your chosen entertainment, so enquire if they are exhibiting or promoting themselves anywhere, or whether they will meet you in advance, perhaps at your venue. And don't forget to ask questions!
Lastly, check there are no essential hidden extras required to complete the show and that the price you are quoted IS actually the price you'll pay.

Established in 1980 from a sole ambition to be a DJ and a genuine love of music, Sight 'n' Sound is now one of the leading mobile discotheques in the Southeast of England.
Combining a unique blend of participation and humour with the finest quality sound equipment and a dazzling light show, we are able to adjust our size and volume to suit almost any venue.
Specialising in weddings, family parties, corporate functions, hotels, dinner dances and most recently our Square in the Air and mobile nightclub, we have the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to make each occasion into a complete event.
As well as a one-stop contact for professional DJs, mobile discos, comperes & presenters, and roadshows, we are also increasingly providing PA, lighting and production services for a variety of settings: such as awards ceremonies, fashion shows and live performances.
Our company ethos has always been based on quality and reliability. A testament to this is the fact that many of our customers use us time and time again.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had lots of enquiries through Add to Event, of which several have already become full bookings. As is so often with our industry, bookings of this kind are made months, sometimes years in advance. So at this time, we have yet to have completed our first Add to Event booking. However, we are looking forward to getting started next month!
