What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Additionally, don't hesitate to ask the service provider as many questions as needed, a true professional will be happy to address all questions. Meeting suppliers in person to discuss requirements face-to-face can be advantageous, especially for certain services.

Always insist on receiving a written quote, and if you decide to proceed with a particular supplier, ensure you receive a written contract. These practices are part of my approach to provide clients with complete peace of mind and confidence

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

From the age of 14, I have been fortunate to embark on a musical journey primarily focused on drumming. Throughout my experience, I have had the privilege of playing drums in approximately 9 different bands, spanning various genres including wedding cover bands, as well as original pop and rock groups.

In addition to my involvement in bands, DJing was always a beloved hobby that brought me immense joy. It was a purely recreational pursuit, without seeking any financial gains, as I performed at various venues. However, in 2006, an exceptional opportunity arose for me to turn this passion into a full-time profession. With my extensive background in drumming and knowledge of music, I was confident in my ability to deliver a remarkable DJing experience.

To prepare for this exciting transition, I devoted nearly two years to attending business courses and meticulously planning my venture. In April 2008, I officially launched Sonik Wave Mobile Disco, and it has been an incredible journey ever since. Throughout my career, I have prioritized thoroughness and unwavering attention to detail, ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed in accordance with my clients' expectations

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I joined Add To Event in 2022 after receiving countless enticing emails from them. Right from the start, it proved to be a game-changer for me. Within the first week, I secured my initial booking, and ever since, I've gained multiple unforgettable events. However, one recent event truly stands out amongst the rest.

It was an evening-only wedding reception in a magnificent venue that boasted glass walls encompassing breathtaking views of acres of picturesque countryside and vibrant wildlife. The moment I arrived, I was impressed by the highly accommodating and professional staff.

The bride and groom had shared a small playlist with me weeks before the event, which I incorporated into my own selection of music. Additionally, I gladly entertained a few guest requests too, further enhancing the overall experience.

Taking place on a warm summer evening, the venue looked absolutely stunning, complemented perfectly with my lighting arrangements. The ambience was nothing short of beautiful, with the backdrop of the evening setting through the huge windows.

The energy on the dance floor was amazing, and everyone danced the night away until midnight. I would have loved to continue, and the bride and groom were inclined towards it, but my adherence to the music license, a standard practice I maintain at every venue, required me to conclude the festivities.

In retrospect, I can't help but feel that I should have joined Add To Event much earlier. The platform allows me to be selective and respond only to the events that genuinely align with my style and expertise. Furthermore, I've also received a number of direct enquiries too, a testament to my growing reputation.

Inspired by my positive experiences, several colleagues from various event supplier industries have also become proud members of Add to Event.
