Ken Discos provide a mobile disco in and around Sussex & Hampshire and can help whatever the occasion whether it is a birthday, wedding, prom or Christmas party to keep your guests entertained all night. They are passionate about music and will spend a lot of time planning your event to make it a night to remember.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we ideally need to know; the event date, start/ finish times, venue, the occasion and a brief explanation of their event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly I would want to know how much experience they have, are they fully PATT tested and have liability insurance? What music can they play and do they take requests? Lastly, when you are offered lighting and sound packages, how do you know this is enough? At Keen Discos, we use our knowledge of the venues to ensure the light and sound equipment is enough.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always had a passion for music and getting to know people. I feel that you cannot beat the feeling of seeing a full dance floor and people just having a good time.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had so many bookings with Add to Event, which we are so happy about. If we had to pick one it would be Susan and Paul's wedding at Sullington Manor Barn, where everyone danced the night away from start to finish. There were so many laughs, and the bride and groom looked so beautiful for their first dance and their guests had such a great time. We had lots of fantastic comments at the end of the night. Have recommended Add to Event to all DJ colleagues, and industry suppliers.
