What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we ideally need guest numbers, specific drinks the client would like, will we have access to power, any arrival/preperatory requirements and the ideal setup time.
We are able to buy in and source from a number of suppliers and brands, so letting us know of any unusual requests early, means we are able to hunt down and tailor the ideal package.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Try to hire local, any local vendor will know the area, know local suppliers, won't have to travel as far (keeping eco friendly) and will be close by if there are emergencies or meetings required face to face.
Small businesses are able to give you a very personal service, so feel free to ask if there is something you want particularly, a good small business will help source anything you need.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always loved bar work and engaging with customers, and after obtaining wine qualifications, a personal license and years of working for other businesses, I decided I would love to run a service for myself.
After Covid I realized, more people want an outside event these days, so I decided to create something that could come to the client, wherever they are.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have done several local weddings and parties, I work with East Anglian-based suppliers and provide quality drinks through companies such as Adnams.
I always find people appreciate the personal touch I give, such as hunting down specific wines that the client likes, choosing beers based on specific pallets and often meeting the client beforehand for an in-person chat and planning session.
