Based in Farnham in Surrey, The Gin Inn is a mobile gin bar that works out of a vintage horsebox. They cater for a wide range of events, from weddings to birthday parties, anniversary parties, public events and more.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be honest all of the information we get covers that. The only thing I would say that could be helpful would be is this event booked and ready to go? As it helps to know if the organiser is just looking for ideas or is serious about making a booking.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think the key is speaking to the suppliers on the phone, finding out more information and getting to know the people who provide the service.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Gin Inn was set up as I had a baby in September last year and thought rather than go back to work full time, that it was time to follow my dream and open a mobile gin bar. Which would mean I could work flexibly around my baby. So teaming up my passion for events and gin!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have only been with Add to Event for a couple of weeks and I have already had two jobs booked from it. We have completed one job and the other is yet to be confirmed - I would highly recommend Add to Event as the credits have paid for themselves already.
