What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to be able to provide a fully comprehensive quote to a customer we will need a rough idea of a date, time - but most importantly for us is the number of people there is and the amount you would like serving! A budget can be helpful as we will try our best to do everything we can no matter how small your budget is.
It is helpful to know if you require us indoor and outdoor just so we turn up with correct things for the day!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If I was going to give advice about someone who is looking to hire a coffee van, waffle van or our wonderful catering canape service - is knowing what you really want. We will always try our best to educate you and help you have the best day possible.
For example, not only do all of our baristas have a large amount of experience, we work closely with our coffee suppliers and every new member of our team goes for a training day with their lovely team. Coffee can change from bean to bean, so we want you to have the best cup of coffee, every time!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Baristaroo was built out of love for great coffee and a sadness for bad coffee. After having to simply throw my Starbucks away, complain at Costa - we had had enough!
We have spent years in hospitality and our lovely catering team have over 25 years experience between them so we all pulled together to create an incredibly friendly and fun team.
We are such a close-knit family that we always like to make sure every customer, every person wait on or every canape we make, feels special. To us this is so much more than coffee and food, this is about happiness in a mouthful.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've had a fair few bookings through Add to Event that we have loved! I think the teams favourite (or at least the one they talked about most) would be a waiting/drink serving at a wonderful house party - the guests were amazing, the people who hired our team were even better. They left happy and beaming - but I do partly think this is because the team got to pet their awesome cute dog more than once!
