What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a tailored bespoke quote for a murder mystery event that you and your guests will love, there are a few things we need to know.
1. The type of event
2. Location
3. Estimated number of guests
4. Date and time
5. Whether the audience will be all 16+ or whether younger children are expected.
6. Whether the event is indoor or outdoor

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The first thing to know is whether your guests want to do the acting themselves and you are looking to hire a facilitator, or whether you want to hire a professional acting team to present the murder which your guests then need to solve. Be sure that the company offers the type of experience you are looking for.
Ask the supplier how many professional actors will be attending the event.

A personal recommendation from someone you trust is always good, but if you don't have this be sure to look at the company's website and google reviews to see what guests are saying about their events. Ask the company whether you can speak to someone/a company that they recently provided an event for. Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started the company in 2017 to offer a unique fundraising opportunity to charities, hence our slightly unusual name Murdered for Money.
Due to the popularity and demand for MurderedforMoney events our multi award-winning teams now provide virtual and venue events for private parties, corporate entertainment, public murder mystery weekends and dinner theatre. Last year, we were recognised by The Telegraph as one of the top 20 entertainments available in the UK.
Working with Fellows of the CIPD we also provide virtual and venue team-building challenges, including Murder Hunt and Murder Squad within the beautiful New Forest.
As we have grown, charity works have remained core to our mission and each year we are delighted to raise thousands of pounds for our charity partners. 
Our mission is to delight and challenge our audiences with an experience they will be talking about for years!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are new to Add to Event and are already receiving inquiries. We are thrilled how easy the platform makes it for event organisers to quickly contact suppliers, removing the need for hours of searching the internet. We are also delighted to have been able to give advice to organisers, helping them make sure that the supplier matches and wherever possible exceeds their expectations. We are currently in discussions with a University, a future bride and a historical venue and that's after only three days.
