What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide a detailed quote, the more information is given, the better. Date and location are essential and an approximate idea of budgets are useful as we like to structure our services according to means. Please let us know the type of venue your event will be held at and any specific entertainment you may require.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always check the experience and history of the entertainers. Find out about what requirements an entertainer needs such as electric power point, easy parking next to the venue, length of time required to set up. Also, check they have limited liability insurance.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We have worked in showbusiness for over 30 years as actors and performers for TV, Film and Theatre and we are fully aware that to hire good quality shows for private events can be expensive. We carry out all production work in house such as designing and building sets, costumes etc which keeps the overheads down and thus cheaper for the client. Our aim is to provide shows and entertainment packages for the general population regardless of age and to offer a wide range of entertainment options.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We withdrew from Add to Event during the pandemic as we were working on other projects, but now we are back! About 3 years ago we responded to a lead for a client wanting entertainers for a fair. We not only got the booking but we have continued to work for them on a regular basis for the past 3 years.
In the past we would get several bookings per week for children's parties just from Add to Event so it is worthwile joining up. The service is better suited than other similar sites.
