What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote, we would need to know approximately how many guests will be attending the event, as this will allow us to customise the experience to suit your group size. We can provide different numbers of actors with varying levels of interaction, depending on your needs. We also require a rough location, but a specific venue is not necessary as we can work in any location that is suitable for your event.

We are flexible with regards to the event timing and can work at a time that suits you. Additionally, we would love to know more about the occasion so we can tailor the experience to make it even more special for your guests. The more information you can provide us with, the better we can understand your needs and create a truly unique and memorable event for you and your guests.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It’s your event, so you should ensure whatever supplier you hire can help make it as stress-free and easy as possible for you. you want someone with a “can do” attitude, a problem fixer not a problem creator, because, let’s face it, there are enough problems in the world without your supplier adding to them!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

When a Church youth group wanted to play a murder mystery with no risqué content, we realised there simply just wasn’t any company out there supplying games where you could be 100% sure the content wouldn’t cause offence or be inappropriate. We fixed that by writing our own, and a few years later, after supplying friends and family with parties to die for, we went into a business supporting other clients who were struggling to get the right game for their event. Our “can do” attitude has seen us grow year after year.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've had the pleasure of booking numerous physical and virtual events, but one, in particular, stands out: hosting a two-day Agatha Christie-style cruise on the Nile called "Murder on the Nile." The event was hosted by two outstanding actors and had over 200 guests fully engaged from the outset, with each guest named as a suspect. This continued until the final decision was made by each team on "whodunit!" and discussions continued afterwards with cries of "I told you so!"

The flow of the evening was flawlessly organized, with each course of food accompanied by a new level of interaction with the guests, providing excellent entertainment throughout. It was a highly successful evening enjoyed by all, and we wholeheartedly recommend Add to Event to any company operating in the hospitality and events sector.
