Sugar Sweet Duo is a professional Acoustic Duo that performs a wide range of songs from the 1960s through to modern-day so there is something for everybody, they enjoy working together to create a truly dazzling performance to suit all events! Find out as much as you can they suggest when looking to book a similar entertainer for your event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote, we ideally need the event date, location of the venue, whether it is outdoor or indoor and a brief explanation on the type of event this is. This will give us a much better understanding as to what you are looking for. We aim to accommodate almost any request.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would try and find a live video of the musician or band so you know what to expect on the day. Ask them about their service and their different price options too. Find out if they are fully self-contained and provide everything themselves as you don't want them to turn up on the day expecting you to provide a PA sound system. It may be helpful to look for them on social media to see what they have been up to recently.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Sugar Sweet Duo consists of myself and my partner, Joe. We have always played music together and so we thought, "let's make this official and put a name to it!" We have so much passion for music and performing that we can't think of anything better than making people smile through music and helping create magical memories.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We recently performed at a Wedding which we were booked for through Add to Event. The whole process from start to finish was so easy and we had a brilliant review afterwards from the bride! This is a great platform for us, being fairly new to the website, we have had a lot of interest already. The simple contact form and template option are great too.
