Paella Party provides authentic Spanish paella and big pan catering. Paella can only be cooked and served with passion using only truly authentic Spanish ingredients; their pans go from 4 servings up to 220 in their largest pan ( which needs 2 people to lift it ) but it looks very spectacular!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Where the event is and the type of event are the first things we need to know. Next, it's the number of guests this is for and if there are any special dietary requirements. Finally, payment method, budget spend per head and the type of venue that the event is to be held in. The more information we are given, the more accurately we can provide a bespoke quote
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions and then ask more questions.
Look at the reviews and the supplier's website to get a real feel for the supplier to make sure that what they are offering suits you completely; both the food they are offering and how they conduct their business
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been in outside and event catering for over 50 years and love it as much now as on my first event; I used to provide catering on a very large scale ( 7 units at Reading Rock Festival and catering at QPR's ground are two examples ) but now I prefer to do smaller events which is why I specialise in paella; a very visual experience with the huge pans and incredibly tasty for the guests who help themselves

Most of my work now comes through Add to Event. It is a great site that works extremely well both for us suppliers and for customers. It is very simple to use by both sides and provides a complete trail from the first inquiry and records everything that is discussed and agreed between supplier and client
