What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To quote for your event I will need to know your planned date, duration and location. It would also be ideal to get an idea of the number of guests and any theme. From this, I can put together an accurate quote and advise on the reading style or come up with a bespoke plan or tarot spread for your guests.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest asking the service provider for more information on their background and style to see if they fit the vibe you're going for. All tarot readers are different, some can offer cold or psychic readings, others are rooted more in psychology and some are pure entertainers. I combine psychology with intuition and add a sprinkle of magic to bring something unique to any event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My background is primarily in media sales, but I've always had an interest in tarot and entertaining! I love meeting people and during so much time spent alone during the pandemic, I realised I wanted to get out from behind my corporate desk and take tarot full time. I'm passionate about using tarot as a way to give people a boost. I believe it's the perfect entertainment for an event, it can feel very personal in just a few minutes and makes guests feel like they've been a part of something special.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I'm relatively new to the platform but have had such a great experience so far. My favourite booking has been a 1996 themed party in Camden. I dressed up on the theme from the 1996 movie, The Craft and set up a truly 90's tarot experience, I even used all the 90's slang! I saw around 20 guests in two hours and read for everyone from sceptics to tarot enthusiasts. Everyone enjoyed their experience and it was a great discussion point for guests who didn't know each other. People were talking about their reading all night! I highly recommend Add to Event and have booked a wide range of different events.
