What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be able to provide a comprehensive quote to a potential customer, ideally we need to know the event date, a summary of the type of event they are hosting, potential themes, location and an estimated number of guests. Using this information, we can use our experience to put together an accurate price guideline.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask the provider about their experience and ensure you have an understanding if their knowledge and expertise is the right match for you. Ask about different packages they have to offer, to understand if the one they have suggested is truly suitable for your needs and you are not over-paying or under-paying for the services you require. Complete some research and see if they have a website / social media presence to see some recent events they have organised.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Flawless Events was an idea that was built upon throughout years of organising events for friends and family. Taking the leap to create a real business and explore planning other people's events has been fantastic. My passion is to help other people create their dream events, and using that passion to continually push boundaries and create unforgettable events.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had some bookings through this platform, and been in touch with so many potential customers also. If I were to pick one it was a first birthday party which went above and beyond having everything you can imagine. My client was absolutely thrilled with the outcome, and gave me a stunning review to share with others. I promote the Add To Event platform to contacts I have throughout the industry and hope to be able to continue to support their growth as they are supporting mine.
