What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to customise a quote that will deliver & exceed your expectations for the price you want then we need as much information as possible right down to the little details. Starting with what the event is, the event date and time, location of the venue, how many guests you are expecting. We would like to know how you would like your event to look like, is there a special theme? Lastly an idea of what your budget is so we can work with you to deliver the best event possible for your money.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

That is a really good question. I would see if they answer their phone so you know you can have a clear line of communication and see how much the supplier listens to you. You want your event your way, not theirs. I would ask if they would like a meeting in person to see how they are and how excited they get when you convey your ideas. Packages are great but I would want to make changes so will the supplier be flexible? How good are they at what they do, what are their reviews saying? What is their equipment like? What brands do they use? I would consider cost but I wouldn't use it as your final decision-making factor. That old saying "You get what you pay for" is so true!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Always Dapper is a dynamic business offering a combination of really useful services. We started about 15 years ago with a passion for parties. We noticed that mobile discos mostly look the same. We knew we wanted to change that by adding a super high-end look to everything! So we slowly built up some amazing looking and sounding rigs to offer out in packages. When we felt like we had achieved what we set out to do, we started with the same mindset and applied it to Photography and Videography. Here we are 12 years later with a brilliant team who are all experts in getting your design brief nailed.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are relatively new to this platform, however, we are established in our industry. Our first booking was for kids entertainment at an after party from a Holy Communion. It went fantastically well, kids loved it and especially loved the magic show we put on. The hosts we so happy with everything we did for them. We have 4 more bookings in the coming weeks for the different services we do. We see Add to Event as a definite reliable source of customers in the future. Would I recommend you try this platform?
