What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The more information we can get at initial quote the better, we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, type of venue and location. From this information, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a comprehensive quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's important to check out reviews here on ATE but also on the potential supplier's others mediums such as Facebook. Make sure they are experienced in their field, all our electrical work is carried out by our own in house NICIEC qualified electrician, all our tents are expensive commercial aluminium and not like the cheaper offerings...
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We spotted a gap in the market, marquees are often unaffordable and the lovely British weather means that an outdoor event cannot be guaranteed at any time of year without some provision in place. The tents have taken two years to come to life and we are so proud of them. Every install is slightly different and just looks so cool. Giving the customer the absolute best experience is our number one priority whether that's with product or service!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We use Add to Event for this business and our hot tub business and have had great success. We recently supplied a tent for an 18th birthday, it was a surprise and the weather was terrible but with our all-weather solution, the party went without a hitch. The customer was so thrilled and couldn't believe the price difference between what we offer and marquees yet we still provide everything you need and it's a completely hassle-free solution.
