3M Photography provides a multi-culture wedding photographer, also specialising in family portraits. Based in Reading, Nathan mostly covers the South of England and sometimes further afield or abroad.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Communication is the key element. Hence we focus to arrange a pre-consultation, either in person or virtual so we can understand the perfect plan the clients have planned for their special events. That is where we extract and share information that will help us tailor a bespoke quote for the clients. At our meeting we discuss topics like: events dates, timings, locations, services required, package details, special arrangements, product details etc.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Communication and reality of the service provided by confirming physical location of the service provider, also websites and social media are a few things to investigate before confirming the contract with the supplier. Discuss the T&Cs and make sure you are clear about the service and package that you are receiving.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Photography has always been my childhood hobby. Later, the childhood hobby eventually developed to be my profession which I absolutely love. Taking pictures is not my objective, but to create images with moments to cherish is what drives my passion. Be it an event, landscape or portrait, I want to create images that speaks to the viewers. This passion eventually lead me to establish my studio. Though I began professionally as a freelancer, after years and years of experience and development, I have now been running my studio in the Broadstreet Mall since 2013.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
This is just the beginning in this platform hence I haven't had an experience to share, however I am feeling positive and looking forward to sharing an experience very soon.
