What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to send a quote I simply need to know your event date, location, start time and a rough idea of how many guests you're expecting.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to anyone booking any time of service is to first look at client reviews as this will tell you within five minutes if the service provider you are looking for is reliable and the right fit for your needs!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always loved doing photography! One of my first memories is taking pictures of my mum on the morning of her wedding day way back in 1994 on an old battered 35mm film camera. From that moment on I was hooked and it has always been a hobby of mine but after having my daughter in 2006 I found out the hard way that there was a serious lack of affordable, reliable and down-to-earth photographers in my area so I took the leap and put my efforts into honing my skills, snapping away at every possible moment!
A few years after my daughter was born the bed sales company I worked at closed down and I realized sales wasn't for me, I didn't just want to work to live, my true passion was photography and I wanted to expand my hobby into a career I would enjoy and be able to provide for my family with whilst being able to provide an affordable, reliable, down-to-earth, friendly and experienced service to those in my area, so that is exactly what I did, and here we are today at Louise Ogden Photography where I capture Weddings, Christenings, Portraits, Parties & Events!

I haven't yet had a booking through Add To Event so am very excited to receive them!
