Your Wedding Filmed provides a full-time media company with over 20 years of experience in the events, wedding, broadcast and corporate industries.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to give a quote, we require the location, size and duration of event. We are based in Oxted, Surrey and can cover Kent at no extra cost. We require the number of guests attending to give us a good idea of how many videographers would be needed. To also know the staffing requirements we need to know what parts of the day you would like to be recorded. Lastly, if you want coverage from preparations until band the price will be higher.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many differences between videographers ranging from style, experience and level of equipment used. It is also important to ask questions about what final products will you receive and on what format. Will you just receive the highlights or will you have the opportunity to watch back the ceremony and speeches. Is it being recorded in 4K and if so will it be edited in 4K or HD.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
YWF was a merger of 2 experienced wedding videography companies that used to focus solely on exclusive weddings in the Asian market. I have been a videographer for 25 years and at the age of 40 have filmed most things in many different areas of the world.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
One of the bookings taken from this platform was an Ethiopian wedding in London. We covered the wedding with 2 videographers and filmed at 4 separate venues. The bride and groom received a generous discount for our services and we were able to fill up a date in our diary otherwise not booked.
