What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide a quote to a customer, ideally I need the event date, the location, a brief explanation of what the event is, estimated number of guests and whether it is indoor, outdoor or both.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't just settle for the cheapest - shop around and get a feel for what you like and don't like. Everyone has a different style!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I'm 45 and was made redundant in 2009 - I've always taken pictures since I was a toddler after my step-dad gave me a camera and I did my photography in my spare time while having a 9-5 job. Being made redundant was the best thing that happened to me as it made me go out on my own. I love engaging with people and I love to capture great images.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I haven't had a booking yet as I only joined yesterday, however I am very excited for my first one!
