Nonno Luigi Pizza is a family run business serving Kent and South East that produce the tastiest stone-baked pizzas to customer's order, using the finest ingredients sourced from Italy. Here they share their advice on what to look for when choosing a provider in their line of work.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would need the event date and the estimated number of guests. We would need outside access and room to move our vehicle so we would need details of the venue. We would also like to know if you would like individual pizzas or large pizzas cut into slices.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Each individual event should be personal, our pizza oven is large and can fit 6 pizzas in at a time and so over the course of an hour, we can usually serve all guests. A customer would need to give details of their party size because if it is over 50 then a small pizza van with a small oven would not be suitable.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We have Italian roots and have worked in the pizza restaurant business previously. I decided to set the business up as we have a passion for good food and it was something that I could do with my teenage children which we have all found hard work but most enjoyable with some fun and tears along the way.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I only joined Add to Event a few weeks ago so we are still looking forward to my first booking
