What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We know how hard it is to get RSVPs from all of your guests, so just tell us as much as you can!
The more details you know, the better price we can give you, we're happy to flex with you though if more people than you expect to turn up, especially if you can let us know in advance - e.g. 'We've had 75 RSVPs for the wedding, we're still waiting on the other 40 but expect about 20 of those to turn up. That way we can make sure we have enough to feed everyone but don't worry, we always bring some extras just in case someone decides on the day they're REALLY craving pepperoni.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask to see photos of the food! Not just their menu photos, check out their social media platform, their tags & photos other people have uploaded so you know they're the real deal.
When we got married, we served a mini version of the same menu at our engagement party so we knew EXACTLY what food we'd be getting. Everyone loved it & it gave us a chance to see what we should order more of AND trial some riskier options for the big day to see how some of our guests responded.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I've been lucky enough to travel a lot with my wife, and most of our favourite memories involved food. We've noticed a lot of our friends are the same, we ask about their holiday & they light up when they talk about the incredible restaurant they found down a side road that did the best food they've ever had.
I want to create those moments closer to home on the days that matter the most to us.
I'm also sick of being served dry, slightly cold chicken at weddings.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We're just getting started with Add to Event after hearing INCREDIBLE things from our friends in the food industry.
So far the events we've seen looking for caterers are a great mix of really interesting looking events.
We can't wait to get our first booking!
