Boxed Catering
Boxed Pizza provide Stone Baked Pizza for events, weddings, corporate and a range of other events. Based in Norfolk they supply all their pizzas along with fresh big salads, dips, dressings, oils and antipasti all from a pop-up gazebo, it's so mobile they can literally set up anywhere.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We simply need to know as much information as you can give. The main points are dates if you have them confirmed, what type of event you are hosting and for how many guests, the type of food you are looking for and of course your budget. The budget helps us imagine the best possible options for food options to offer you. It's surprising how much these points can help us.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I personally would be looking for experience and knowledge, we would be looking for what makes their business stand out and if there is real passion put into the food. If these boxes are ticked you will have a caterer that knows the business well and can also be the best match to work with you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have spent close to 25 years in the food business, from winning a number of awards as a head chef and running great restaurants and hotels to then stepping into the wedding, festival and events business. Our pizza business now is something we are proud of as who doesn't like pizza? So we aimed to set this up as more of a gourmet pizza company working with planners carefully and professionally in delivering the best possible day, along with some great pizza!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event has been brilliant so far! even though we are quite new to this website we have had some great customer interaction and this has really helped us understand the main priority, knowing exactly what the customer wants and adapting to it. Our booking is a few months away but its been great so far and this portal will be used for many years to come!
