G Brothers Pizza is a pizza truck run by two brothers who use delicious sourdough pizza and the freshest local ingredients wherever possible, baked on Italian soapstone in a beech wood-fired oven. They also have some useful advice on what you should check when booking your own supplier.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, we need the number of guests; if they'll be paying upfront or if the guests will be paying for themselves; if the venue can accommodate our large vehicle; any dietary requirements and whether or not power and water are available on site.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is sensible to ask the provider about the product they are offering. If it is pizza they are serving, for example, I would ask them about their dough: what type of dough it is and whether they make it fresh for the event. Further, I would ask them about the quote: what might I receive for a particular price and is the price negotiable.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My business partner Geoffrey is the heart and soul of the business. He has been a pizza chef for a decade and he is committed to attempting to make the best pizza in the world. When we were students he used to make pizza at home for me and his friends and at the time we all agreed it was wonderful, so years later when we got the opportunity to build our own huge wood-fired oven on a vintage fire truck we jumped at the chance. Turns out everybody really does love pizza!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We get all our events bookings through Add to Event. I continue to recommend the website to people. My favourite events are the weddings, I have to say I've enjoyed them all but one particularly lovely one we had in the summer took place in a field in Gloucestershire. There were just over one hundred, perhaps one hundred and fifty people having a marvellous time under a beautiful marquee setup there. They were absolutely lovely, we served an amazing pizza buffet and Geoff saw one of his favourite folk singers perform at the wedding! Another wonderful day that may never have happened without Add to Event.
