Flour’d Up is a Cardiff based, mobile, wood-fired pizza company offering delicious, traditional Neapolitan pizzas, trading at farmers markets, street food events and private parties around South and Mid Wales. What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote we would need to know the date of the event, the location, what time you would like us to start serving and how many guests you’ll be having.
We also would need to know whether there is enough space for us to set up our pizza oven and gazebo.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

What kind of experience you have at catering for events and parties. What kind of produce is used. Whether they’re using locally sourced produce and if they can cater to individuals needs and food intolerances. Check out reviews and try and get to taste the food before committing.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

It was always an ambition to become a street food trader. I’ve personally always had a love of baking bread and making pizza by hand so to set up a pizza company was the obvious choice. The more we traded the more we were asked to cater for parties and weddings. We still do our regular pop-ups and markets but we’re now predominantly a company that offers catering for parties and weddings.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

In the past 4 years, we have catered for lots of events through Add to Event. I would definitely and have told fellow traders about the site. It has definitely helped us to grow as a business.
We catered for a 50th party in May last year. It was a really relaxed environment and there’s nothing better than making pizzas in the sunshine. Add to Event allowed us to quote and we were also able to ask the party organisers to visit us at an event and try our food.
