What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Firstly we need to know if it is indoors or outdoors as the majority of indoor places do not have the required extraction needed for a wood burning oven. Knowing your event date is another key thing, it is very difficult to supply a quote if we don't know if we are available for the event. Ideally, knowing the location, numbers of guests and event type enables us to provide a more comprehensive quote as we can then start to build a plan around the event such as extra staff or equipment that might be needed.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a provider, ask the provider about their menu and why they are serving what they are serving. Also look at websites and social media to see the kind of things they do and whether it fits with your event. Make sure that you understand the pricing and find out if there are any extra costs involved, its better to know upfront than at or after the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

After an amazing trip to Italy and being frustrated at not being able to achieve the perfect pizza, we strove for perfection which meant getting a proper wood burning oven and then the tools to reach our goal. After that came practice, more practice and then even more practice until eventually we were getting requests for parties and weddings etc. After this we officially became Wood Fire Dine - a family based company built on the love of all things pizzas. We are passionate about fresh ingredients and our attention to detail means all of our pizzas are made with love and care. We pride ourselves on our authentic hand making processes and our commitment to quality and excellence.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There have been lots and lots of bookings through Add to Event, however my favourite story is the event we did for a corporate company where the staff work 24 hours round the clock and thus it was difficult to organise a Christmas party, so we did a split shift ourselves, meaning that we could cater for all of the staff members! They were very happy!

We would absolutely recommend Add to Event and we tell people we know ( or don't know!) all about it because you just never know who is looking for a caterer and it might not be pizzas they are after but by using Add to Event they can see other caterers that might suit their event as well. Everybody wins!
