What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
What we look for to enable us to provide a concise and accurate quote to a customer is a clear explanation of the key factors of the event. The date of the event being the key starting point - allowing us to check our availability, then a brief outline of the nature and timings of the event, the potential venue, detailing whether it is to take place indoors or out and an idea of the number of guests to attend.
We can then draw upon our great knowledge and experience to ensure we provide an accurate estimate of cost along with some menu ideas which both fulfill the customers brief and may also inspire some further ideas of how great and successful their event can be with our catering service being involved.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When searching for a suitable provider I would advise the customer to ask some key questions to secure the best service for their event. In our area of catering I think the provider's motivation to do what they do is vital and they should illustrate a passion and drive for what they do along with a determination to deliver the best quality service and product every time. From my experience within my catering business there is always the feeling on my part that every event, dinner party or function is like my first, in my approach that I want to impress and over deliver on both our service and product to ensure future business along with great reputation is maintained. From our perspective a great knowledge of our ingredients and the cuisines we cook and create is key, and I pride myself on my background knowledge and experience that is utilised to deliver great, authentic dishes from around the world that taste great while our service adds that something special to the customers event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Su Casa Cuisine grew from my love of great tasting food using the best ingredients and was inspired from my travels through Europe and working in kitchens in the South of France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Canary Islands and predominantly mainland Spain. The sympathetic use of ingredients and passion for creating great food that brings people together really drove me on to create my own business that can take this passion and great tasting food to as many people as possible. From cooking for 6 guests in a customer's home to feeding 800 people on a beach in North Wales I feel the same buzz and enjoyment in delivering great food to the customer, and the greatest feeling in the world is when a guest comments on how much they enjoyed our food, and that's a feeling I never tire of so I will continue to strive to create great tasting feasts and memorable days for our customers.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Having been with the Add to Event platform for only a short time I have been very impressed with the quality and quantity of potential events that have been made available to us and I'm pleased to say that we have not only been in a position to offer our service for these events but we have already secured several bookings through the platform. With the first of our bookings on the horizon I cannot wait to bring our unique brand of quality catering and service to the customer, and it is great to think that we will now reach a greater number of potential customers and have an increased opportunity to promote the service that I am proud of thanks to the Add to Event service which is doing a great job of bringing together the right customers and right providers to ensure that the events promoted have the best chance of being successful and memorable for all involved.
