What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide an accurate quote, we would like to know where the event is and the basic timings of the event. What type of event is it and if it is indoors or outside, since this makes a difference if we are supplying a stage as they might want it covered. The number of people coming is always good as well and the type of venue that the event is to be held in.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the company if they have done similar events and are free on the date of your event. Do they have trained engineers and is all the equipment they are going to use PAT tested? Are the PLI certificates up to date? Do they offer any other services that might help improve your event?

SRD Group has been running production elements of events for over 25 years and how offers one of Kent's biggest hire inventories of sound and staging equipment. We also get involved in installs for local schools and churches. We have a passion for all things sound and always try to use the latest technology to bring your event to life.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We certainly do get a lot of requests come through Add to Event. It is very easy to use and I would highly recommend it. We do a local small festival that we picked up from this site and this will be our second year doing this. The client is very happy and is surprised at how much we can offer and the professionalism used.
