There are a number of screens available for dry hire as well as a number of content creation options to choose from. Installation costs are included in the price so you can rest assured that there are no nasty surprises.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event and the choice of venue. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design concept. We can arrange a suitable time for installation and de-installation of the equipment.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider about installation costs as well as the dry hire of the projector. Secondly, I would also advise if you know what you want for example a slide-show for a special occasion if the provider will edit these together or if you need to send them on an email or USB stick/SD card. Thirdly, if you wanted something more creative and interactive explain clearly the venue with what power supplies are available.

Grit Projections was founded by digital artists who are making a living from hiring their equipment and creating original and exciting content. Technology is a great passion of ours and we want to make creative technologies more accessible to the public. Through using simple and stunning projections it decorates a space with no mess to clean up afterwards!
