Salute provides a beautifully converted horsebox bar and a new addition pop up bar, based in Chesterfield. The featured product is "Frizzenti," Prosecco-on-tap freshly chilled and served by the glass, but plenty other drinks are served from the bar which can be personalised to any occasion or budget.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Salute to provide a comprehensive quote, we need to know the event date, a brief outline of the running of the day including timings, if power is available, numbers including adults and children, any glassware to be provided, would we need to apply for the licence if the event inside or outside as this will differ what bar we bring.
Ideally, we would like to be the only bar at a private event, if a public event we understand more then one bar will be onsite, however, we would like there to be no clash between bars.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First impressions are always key; the look, the rapport between the client and the provider is very important.
We serve Prosecco on tap - this means the bubbles never stop! The tonic we source is local to us, we support local companies where ever possible. Try and visit us where ever possible at public events and if you are interested in hiring us (once an enquiry has been made) have a drink on us.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Salute was made by a trip to a local beer festival and an accidental purchase on eBay which was worth the while.
Both my sister and I run the company, love Prosecco, Gin and Cocktails and wanted to share our passion and party hosting skills with our clients. We are both from a design and hospitality background, we designed and created Salute thinking of the environment at the same time - the majority of what we use is recyclable, biodegradable or up-cycled.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Salute has been on Add to Event for about 3 years now. The events we have received from Add to Event have mainly been corporate so the benefit of this is that the money is paid in advance. We do recommend Add to Events to other traders we meet along the way as the events we have taken from the site have always been worth the while.
