With a long history working in events, Wild Poppy was designed to be versatile and efficient, to 'hit the ground rolling' at any event. They provide professional bubbly bar staff to bring the extra magic and aim to create a new and special experience for every guest.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote, we need to know the event date, what sort of hire you are looking for, be it a cash bar, a dry hire or a pre-paid bar. We also need to know the number of guests, the hours and where the event will be. From this, we can use your expertise to provide an accurate quote, as well as a suggested drinks menu to support local.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We at Wild Poppy Bar have learnt over the past few years how easy and how rewarding it is to make a conscious effort to help support your local community, support charity and to be kind to the planet. Our love for local and the environment shines through everything we do, from the seasonal produce we serve, the eco-friendly, recycled glassware, right through the bar design itself. I'd recommend any customer, choosing a provider with a positive footprint.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Laura and myself (Poppy) have been neighbours for over 20 years. We love a good DIY project, we love a G&Tand we know how to make a great party. Put those things together and we ventured on to create the Wild Poppy Bar - and we LOVE it!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've had a few bookings through Add to Event which has opened us up to new areas, new types of events and helped us get our voice and brand together. Our favourite booking so far through Add to Event, was a wedding just before lockdown. Wow-what a magical event, we loved adding something special for the day. If Add to Event keeps bringing us great clients like these, I can't recommend them enough.
