What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for A.R.P. Discos to give you an accurate and competitive quote, we ideally require the following. Firstly, we require the date. Then, add the venue, times, type of celebration, potential numbers and then any special requirement you may have.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a look at Social Media pages, (we are on Facebook, and have our own website). These platforms give you an idea of what suppliers do, and also to see reviews from clients. This will help to give an idea of the company's experience and level of service.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
A.R.P. Discos was started many moons ago. I was working as a DJ in various Bars and Clubs but decided I wanted to be able to expand my client base, and services offered. Over the years, we have added many services, and these have proved to be a great success.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a full dance floor, with all age groups enjoying themselves.
We are vastly experienced, and work with all clients, to ensure complete satisfaction.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had many booking via Add To Events, but I think the most memorable was a The Quay in Dundee. It was a fundraising event, and we provided the Disco, Silent Disco, and Rock & Roll Bingo. The venue is ideal for all types of celebrations. With the balcony upstairs, it provided an additional area for the dancers, in fact, when the Silent Disco started, everyone moved outside to the balcony, with wonderful views of the City Quay, in Dundee, and the River Tay.
