Most importantly, research is key! Look at websites, listen to audio examples and read testimonials from other clients. It's also essential to check that a sound engineer will be there on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly, allowing the singer to concentrate on singing! It's also important to check that PA equipment is provided and included in the price and that it is fully insured and PAT tested.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Samantha became a professional vocalist after a lifelong love affair with music and singing! She wanted to go and sing at a few gigs but before long a few turned into a few hundred, and now she has performed over 1000 solo gigs! She loves the diversity that her job allows - performing at a whole host of events from weddings & parties, to corporate events and high profile private events as well.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is a fabulous company and I am very excited to be a part of such a successful, fast moving platform. I performed at a particularly memorable wedding recently, when I was booked to perform during the ceremony, daytime drinks reception and also for the live first dance as well as a lively evening set. The crowd were amazing and the ceremony was particularly special. I was also able to perform outside during the daytime which I love to do when the UK weather allows!
