What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to provide a detailed quote for your event, I would require the following information.
- Event Date
- Event Location
- What Type of Event it is
- Times required at the event
- Indoor or Outdoor Event
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would first be looking to see the type of clients that the freestyler is working with already as well as taking a close look at the showreel to make sure that you are paying for a top-quality show. If you are booking for a children's event I would also be keen to find out if the act has a CRB or DBS for working with children as this can give you extra peace of mind when hiring an act.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I originally started Forth Freestylers as a way for freestylers to work with clients and cut out expensive agency fees which means that we are able to offer a lower rate to customers but also this guarantees that fees go directly to the performer. As a freestyler myself I feel it is extremely important to build a rapport with my client & being able to discuss exactly what they want from a performance is a benefit of working directly with one another.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
One of the most successful events I had through Add to Event was when I was selected to perform at several St Mirren Football Club home games & this lead on to me working with the club on a more ongoing basis. I would highly recommend Add to Event as it has allowed me to put myself in front of clients who may not have considered using a football freestyler in the past.
