What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
I love working with customers to create the perfect wedding favours. I need to know the date, wedding theme: colours, flowers, type of venue. This will help me choose the best wax melt shapes, fragrances and colours. I also need to know the number of guests, so I can prepare a quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Wax Melts need to be highly scented, so check the provider is using 10% fragrance oil. There also legally needs to be CLP labels on the products, so make sure the provider is legit and has those. Also, check if they can offer personalization - all my products can have your logo/picture on the label, rather than my own brand.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I decided to climb a mountain in Africa for charity and needed to raise funds. In order to do this, I began different crafting. I developed a love for wax melts and candles, which have slowly taken over my home. I have stock in several boutique local shops and sell online. What started as a hobby, became a passion and now a business.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am new to Add to Event, so haven't had the opportunity for a booking yet. However, I am really excited by all the lovely suppliers on here offering such fantastic services to customers. I am hopeful that I will be in a position to send out quotes soon. I shall come back and let you know how it goes!
