What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For our Steel Band we to know where in the UK the event is, The time of the day and how long do you want the band to perform. Type of event, Are there any parking facilities? In some cases, if we can know their budget we can supply the right number of musicians in the band.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise the customer to look at a number of videos, which gives the customer an idea on how a band looks, the music, interacting with the audience.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Juma Steel Band formed many years ago in London by Band leader Junior Bailey.
He realised that audiences enjoyed Caribbean steel drums at many different events, and clients wanted something different for their event and the band were very portable.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have been with Add to Event for only a short while now and they have generated a number of genuine bookings.
One of the bookings was a wedding reception in Essex on a sunny dry day, whilst guests were sipping on champagne enjoying our Caribbean steel drum music, it went very smoothly and the bride and groom were very happy with us and commented how easy it was to book through Add to Event Service.
I met a musician playing in the band after us and recommended him to join Add to Event as they are very professional for the artist.
