Aroma Brazilian Food
Aroma Brazilian Food provides the great taste of traditional Brazilian food to the UK public. Two Brazilian friends with several years of experience working with Street Food in the UK behind them have decided to go it alone with the mantra that quality food, good drinks, and great company create some of our fondest memories.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When quoting, it's important for us to have the information mainly on location, so we can start working out our logistics costs. Footfall expected, date and times. Everything else can be chatted over before the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Aroma believes in knowing what we are selling. That's why we are very close to our butcher and all other suppliers. The pastels are homemade from a family recipe we believe it's important for providers to have some sort of basic knowledge about what they are serving and able to sell the story to you as the customer.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Aroma came up after Leila and Gabriela had been working in the management sector of street food stalls for over 5 years together. They saw the potential of good food served in an organised manner at events and took up the chance!!! Little did they know the hardest part of all: getting a place at local markets and festivals. But we are now building relationships with organisers and getting our business out there.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event is great for all types of suppliers because you get a range of options from both sides. A lot of suppliers and events to pick and choose from.
Aroma particularly does well in sporting events and we have been matched with a few Rugby and Football events all of which were a success! Our menu was a hit with the customers and we aim to focus on selecting specific customers for us just like they do for themselves. It's a great platform!
