What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote for a customer, we require the event date, the estimated number of guests, details of dietary requirements and the event time and location. This allows us to create the perfect menu for their event and ensure we offer a high level of service for their special occasion.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Give the provider as much information as you can about what you require for your event. Don't be afraid to ask questions before booking to ensure it meets your needs, this way both yourself and the provider are clear about what will be provided on the day. It's also always worth asking if it's possible to sample the menu beforehand and then there are no surprises at the event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Three Girls One Pineapple were born out of a love of food. We enjoy eating out often and trying lots of different cuisines. I've dreamed of owning a food truck for a while and finally decided to set it up in 2020. I built the truck with the help of my father-in-law without any prior experience - it was a steep learning curve!
I believe in good quality food made with passion. Catering for people's special events is a privilege and I love being a part of it, seeing that the guests are enjoying the food brings me joy.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've been very lucky to get lots of bookings through Add to Event. We recently catered for a community event for the Queen's Jubilee. It was a large event of about 200 people and the weather was against us but the day was amazing. The organiser and the guests were all delighted with the food and the quick service we provided, there was definitely a celebratory feel to the day! I would highly recommend Add to Event for your event and hospitality needs, we have even referred private enquiries to the platform if we are unable to cater for their event.
