What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
First I would like to know if the organiser's event will be held indoor or outdoor. Second I would like to know if there are any specific food requirements for example vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free guests.
Is important for me as well if the organisers let me know what is their budget, are they looking for more options, such as dessert, other meat options, etc.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise them to ask the supplier if they have up to date reviews from websites. ( Not only 1) Do they have up to date certificates for their equipment?
Do they have appropriate food rating?
Do they work with fresh food?
Is it everything included in the quote.
Those questions are very important to check for a good relationship between organisers and suppliers, and of course for the smooth running of the business itself.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have 8 years of experience in the hospitality sector, I have been working in 5-star hotels, hospitals, schools and many more, in different countries. After my last job, I have decided to open my own business and introduce my homemade Sweet Crepes Variety and Burger Boxes. I wanted to give to my clients a big, full of taste, rich portions at very reasonable prices!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
My last booking was just a few days ago and I had to cater for 150 guests. The organisers were very lovely family. They were literally amazed at how big the portions were and how nice and tasty were the burgers. I was so happy to hear all the compliments again! It is likely all my customers are making second bookings with me and this makes me even more grateful to be part of Add to Event.
