A provider should focus on the cuisine they want first of all which helps vendors decide whether to quote. Check the reviews of all vendors who bid. Give a full description of the event and your requirements in the initial post. A lack of detail can mean unsuitable quotes are sent and received. Finally, ask plenty of questions to avoid any miscommunication.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started my food trailer after working abroad for a long period of time and decided to return home and start a new business in an area I was passionate about. I used money I had saved and planned everything independently. I wanted to use the knowledge of food I had built up from my travels around the world to put a twist on a national favourite - pulled pork.
